But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we BELIEVE that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the Word of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the LORD Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the Trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Democrats try to revive Epstein scandal as deflection from Russia scandal: Byron York at george magazine

Washington Examiner‘s Byron York said Democrats are using the Jeffrey Epstein scandal as a tactic to divert attention from recent revelations that the intelligence community misled the public about Russian interference in the 2016 election, misinformation that for years fueled their narrative that Donald Trump was an illegitimate president.

Appearing on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle, York told host Laura Ingraham that the timing of the renewed focus on Epstein is no coincidence.

“It was really an extraordinary moment when we learned that the intelligence community had lied about its assessment of Vladimir Putin’s efforts to meddle in the 2016 election,” York said. “They told us it was to help Trump, and Tulsi Gabbard revealed that there was no actual evidence of that.”

York pointed out that just as those revelations were surfacing, Democrats and media allies began spinning up what he called “another scandal hysteria,” this time focused on Jeffrey Epstein, despite no direct evidence linking Trump to criminal wrongdoing in the case.

“They’re trying to do it again,” York said.

He noted the hypocrisy and coordination in the strategy, describing it as part of a broader pattern.

“Thousands and thousands of statements from Democrats, and from people in the press, from their allies in the media, were shown to be false. The media were shown to be false,” York added.

York also dismissed recent claims, like those from Axios CEO Jim VandeHei, that Trump is in a “sour mood” and losing touch with his base.

“We’ve had a lot of polling now showing sky-high support for Trump among Republicans,” York said. “[Trump’s] job approval has been steady.”

While York supported transparency in the Epstein case, saying it’s a “good thing” to release as much material as legally allowed, he emphasized that the current political spin around it is designed to undercut Trump without evidence.
