Kari Lake hit the stage in Parma, Ohio early on Monday morning to thunderous applause and “American Woman” beating from the speakers. Her speech inspired the early-morning crowd and sparked renewed fire in the hearts of everyone present. Her trip to Ohio fulfilled a twofold purpose: to show her support for Senatorial candidate, Bernie Moreno, and to stress the importance of Issue 1 on Ohio’s ballot on August 8th. The message from both speakers was, as expected, “America First” and “Get out to vote on Tuesday!”
In their efforts to ignite Ohioans’ enthusiasm for voting yes on Issue 1, Kari Lake and Ohio Senate hopeful Bernie Moreno teamed up at several events on Sunday and Monday ahead of the August 8th vote. Issue 1 proposes a change to the way in which constitutional amendments are achieved in Ohio. Ohio is 1 of only 9 remaining states that allows constitutional amendments with a simple majority vote. A yes vote on Issue 1 in this state advocates for constitutional amendments to require more than a simple majority vote. Lake and Moreno are inspiring citizens across Ohio to recognize the importance of this issue.
By organizing rallies and engaging with communities from Marysville to Parma, they are rallying support and encouraging voters to understand the potential implications of this crucial vote.
Kari Lake and Bernie Moreno’s joint efforts are mobilizing Ohioans towards an informed decision on Issue 1.
Vote yes on issue 1!!!
