President Donald Trump will attend a dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base on Wednesday at 11 a.m. for the U.S. service members who were killed during the Iran war last week.
The service members were killed Friday at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, and were identified as 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Carrollton, Texas. A third service member, Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad of New York, was believed to be killed during the attack, according to U.S. Central Command.
The dignified transfer comes as the memorandum between the United States and Iran crumbled last week, further escalating the war.
