YOU might have a Good Reason for your Plans… but God may have a BETTER one!

People LOVE to make plans. And sometimes your plans are BUILT UPON good things. But that doesn’t always mean that YOUR plans… are God’s plan. 
 
The Apostle Paul was undoubtedly a man of God after his conversion. And he planned things based on what HE thought was the right direction.

But sometimes God has other plans. The Bible talks about God PREVENTING Paul to preach in Asia: 
 
“Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia…” Acts 16:6 
 
So afterward, Paul thought that a BETTER idea was to go to Bithynia. But what happened? 
 
“After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.” Acts 16:7 
 
So here we see the Apostle Paul having plans, but God said NO twice! 
 
What was God’s plan for the Apostle Paul? It was to go to Macedonia. And THAT he did and was VERY successful in his ministry there. 
 
The lesson for us today. We might have plans. We might make our plans. And our plans MIGHT even be noble. But understand that God is in control! 
 
Ephesians 1:13 gives a powerful promise: You are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth the good news of your salvation. 
 
That same message of truth is available to you right now: 
 
“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4 
 
Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
