The nonprofit organization collecting private donations for President Donald Trump’s new ballroom in the White House and other projects in Washington, D.C., has seen contributions skyrocket, according to IRS filings.
The Trust for the National Mall, the nonprofit group raising private funds to pay for the ballroom, collected over $320 million in 2025, up from $9.5 million it received in donations and grants in 2024, filings posted to its website show. It is unclear how much of the donations collected by the trust were allocated toward the ballroom.
