Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. Proverbs 3:5-10

    Spot ON article!
I am a Gen-X currently residing in California. There isn’t a day that goes by I’m not thinking about MY ‘Plan B’. I too had dreams of raising my children in the ‘California’ I once knew. My father started his career on Van Ness, SF back in the late 50’s & 60’s. I remember how he proudly introduced me to all the wonderful places he’d frequent – his tailor, baker, barber, iconic restaurants & shopping. A SF, that has been utterly destroyed.
Those heartwarming memories have all been blown to smithereens by ‘installed’ corrupt politicians, illegitimate elections, evil running the streets without consequence, deadly drugs coming across our borders, and WOKE school systems. So MUCH MORE.
To those of us left contemplating our Plan B’s, I pray for you and your families.

I’ve been a resident of California for 30 years and my heart breaks for the decline of my once beautiful state. Even though my husband and I would have seriously contemplated a move, we find ourselves still here, praying and doing what we can to support our local community, while our only daughter attends private college in the Los Angeles area. How can we leave our precious girl to tend to herself, even though she is “an adult now” and she is openly thankful to still have her San Diego home to escape to, as she navigates University life? So we remain, we pray and we dream of better days ahead – where true healing will take place for all of us who are devoted to stay.
