But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we BELIEVE that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the Word of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the LORD Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the Trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Dana White previews historic UFC fight on White House lawn: ‘I’ll blow the doors off this thing’

UFC President Dana White is promising to deliver one of the most unforgettable events in combat sports history — right on the South Lawn of the White House.

In a recent interview on the Spinnin Backfist MMA Show podcast, White confirmed that a full UFC card is being planned for the White House as part of the America 250 celebration, marking the nation’s 250th anniversary. The idea, first floated by President Donald Trump, a longtime UFC ally, has now moved into the planning stages, with renderings already in development and site logistics being worked out by White’s team.

“This is a one-of-one, unique event that will never happen again,” White said. “I will blow the doors off this thing. I’m going to make this one of the greatest events of all time.”

White, who said first daughter Ivanka Trump is also involved in organizing the event, stressed the historic nature of the setting, noting that hosting the fight on the South Lawn is more important than crowd size.

“I don’t care if five people show up to this thing. I want to be on the lawn at the White House,” he said.

Asked whether the fight would be a showcase or a full lineup, White was emphatic: “It’ll be a full card, and it will be the best card we’ve ever done.”

The event is tentatively scheduled for next year, with final planning approval from the White House still pending.

UFC officials are working with the administration to finalize the layout and scope of the production. White said renderings should be completed within the next 10 days. At this point, the UFC team will fly to Washington to present the concept.

The South Lawn fight would be the latest high-profile branding moment to join the America 250 initiative.

TRUMP SAYS HE’LL HOLD UFC FIGHT ON WHITE HOUSE GROUNDS FOR NATION’S 250TH BIRTHDAY

White, who previously hosted UFC 306 at the Las Vegas Sphere, says he wants this White House card to surpass even that landmark event.

Matchups for the White House event have not yet been announced, but White confirmed that multiple fighters have already expressed interest in participating in the historic card.
