BROTHER BOB: What a wonderful sermon. I hope to meet you in this life. If not, I will meet you in the air

The sermon of Pastor Bob Joyce blessed me so richly and touched my heart instantly from only reading the first five paragraphs. I Hadn’t even read the rest of the article, when I started thinking back on my life, and how God has always been there for me. How He Has always provided everything I needed all my life, when I was growing up as a young person, as a teenager and young adult, to my first marriage, and having a family, through my divorce, and being on my own for the first time in 26 years, to leading me to the wonderful Christian gentleman, and man that I played for, while praying at Jesus‘s feet. God has met not only my earthly needs in mind and body physically, but my spiritual needs in my mind, body, soul and spirit. He took me through many hardships, tribulations, joys, happiness and relationship that I would not have been able to go through without Him being in my heart, mind, body, soul and spirit and taking me through.

I think back through my life, and when I was on my own after my divorce, and how sweetly He took me through and provided for me in every way. I had a little to nothing, no fancy house, furniture, clothing or even enough food sometimes, but God always provided and took me through. Because I trusted and had complete faith in Him and knew that He would take me through and provide for me, always.

Even before I had finished five paragraphs, I started thinking about what God had done for me. I started praying, and praising God for everything that God has done for me and crying. Then God told me that I wasn’t going to be left behind in my current situations, with being newly married, with the bills that we have now, finding a new job, with my children and grand children and praying for their burdens, salvation and bringing them closer to God. He told me that I haven’t been forgotten, or they have not been forgotten, and that He will provide for me, my husband, my children and grand children, just like He has always done. He told me to bring all your cares and troubles to Him and lay them at his feet and all my prayers will be answered. To specifically pray for my needs, and He will answer like He as always done. Ask and you shall receive. God said that He would take care of me and everyone just like He has always done, to not worry and be weird in doing good but know that He has it all under control, and leaving it in His hands again.

Sometimes we forget how He has answered prayer before and how He has worked in our lives before, and that we again need to “Let go and Let God.” That God has the knowledge that surpasses all understanding of man. With these gifts that God gives us to find that peace, joy, happiness, knowledge, wisdom in Him, we are made free and these are the greatest gifts of all. This is why God created us, to praise him, and worship him, because he created us, and provided life to us, the knowing He died on the cross for our sins. And He gave us these gifts that we may understand why, and this is what helps us find these gifts that He has given us like peace, joy, happiness, understanding, knowledge, wisdom and love. And we must go and share it with others And not be afraid because He has us in his care.

Ty Pastor Bob for your wonderful words of wisdom, I love hearing your sermons. I was raised Pentecostal , Listening to you preach takes me back to my younger years. Grandma would teach us on her felt board all the stories of the bible, It was a treat for all us kids. I’m so glad God gave you the gift to Preach. Someday I too would love to visit your southern Church, just like the one grandma took us too. God Speed.
