While the facts of the violence affects all parts of Nigeria can not be disputed. However, the narrative always to portray these unfortunate realities in the lens of Muslims against Christian is wrong and will continue to deny solutions to problem. First, Boko Haram have targeted more Muslims than the Christian and secondly, you can not say in your opening that the crises stems from struggle for resources then say Fulanis killing are because the victims are Christians. The same Fulanis are killing across states that are predominantly Muslims, like Zamfara, Katsina, Kano, etc. These crises are mostly not mainly be about religion and or targeted at Christians, but political, economic/resources control, land disputes, misunderstanding based on ignorant religious adherents.
