The Trump Organization reportedly severed ties with attorney Bill Burck on Thursday after President Donald Trump voiced displeasure with Burck’s simultaneous work for Trump’s business empire and Harvard University.

The Trump administration has recently targeted Harvard and other top U.S. universities for allowing “anti-Semitic” sentiment on campus following Hamas’s Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel.

Burck is working as the lead attorney for the Ivy League university in a lawsuit filed against the Trump administration for freezing more than $2 billion in federal funding allotted to Harvard and other colleges.

“I view it as a conflict and I will be moving in a different direction,” the Trump Organization’s executive vice president, Eric Trump, said in a statement.

“Harvard is an Anti-Semitic, Far Left Institution, as are numerous others, with students being accepted from all over the World that want to rip our Country apart,” the president wrote on Truth Social. “The place is a Liberal mess, allowing a certain group of crazed lunatics to enter and exit the classroom and spew fake ANGER AND HATE.”

“It is truly horrific! Now, since our filings began, they act like they are all ‘American Apple Pie.’ Harvard is a threat to Democracy, with a lawyer, who represents me, who should therefore be forced to resign, immediately, or be fired,” he continued. “He’s not that good, anyway, and I hope that my very big and beautiful company, now run by my sons, gets rid of him ASAP!”

TRUMP SAYS NEW RECIPROCAL TARIFF RATES TO BE ANNOUNCED OVER NEXT 2-3 WEEKS

In recent weeks, Trump’s Department of Education has targeted more than $2 billion in grants and other funding that Harvard receives from the federal government. The university sued the administration earlier this week, arguing that the funding freeze unconstitutionally places “viewpoint-based conditions” on the school.

Trump has also directed his top aides to investigate the legality of revoking Harvard’s tax-exempt status.
