I have an idea why they don´t talk about it:
maybe they think everything would be revealed in one big moment and not expect the storm to be revealed step by step.
So what is happening now seems to them to be a big show just to wake the people up and only after that there will be the big revelation of all the actors and real things going on behind the scenes.
