President Joe Biden is delivering remarks at a ceremony awarding the Medal of Honor to seven Korean and Vietnam War veterans.
He is scheduled to begin speaking at 5 p.m.
Pvt. Bruno R. Orig, Pfc. Wataru Nakamura, Cpl. Fred B. McGee, Pfc. Charles R. Johnson, retired Gen. Richard E. Cavazos, Capt. Hugh R. Nelson Jr., and Spc. 4th Class Kenneth J. David will receive the nation’s highest military honor. Orig, Nakamura, Johnson, and Nelson were all killed in action.

Biden will also award the Medal of Valor to eight first responders: Sgt. Jeffrey Mathes, Officer Rex Engelbert, and Detectives Michael Collazo, Ryan Cagle, and Zachary Plese.
