President Donald Trump is set to meet with the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, at the White House at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Trump and Milei will share a bilateral lunch meeting at 1:15 p.m. The meeting comes after the United States and Argentina made a $20 billion currency swap following an Argentinian market sell-off.
Argentina is holding its midterm elections on Oct. 25, the first legislative midterms since Trump-backed Milei became president.
