Though further details weren’t offered, the announcement is likely to concern the appointment of Space Force Gen. Michael Guetlein to oversee the development and deployment of Trump’s ambitious “Golden Dome” missile defense project.
Guetlein is the vice chief of space operations of Space Force, with experience in acquisitions and missile defense, according to the Wall Street Journal.
