President Donald Trump will posthumously award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to conservative commentator Charlie Kirk at the White House.

Kirk was shot and killed while he spoke at Utah Valley University in September, triggering a national outcry against political violence.

Erika Kirk is expected to be at the event, which Trump has called a “great celebration.”
