The One Verse Satan Wants Silent

Matthew 5:14, the LORD Jesus says, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Actually this was the George Magazine Issue 43 cover. And the message: DON’T HIDE THE GOSPEL! Proclaim it! This is the ONE THING that Satan DOESN’T WANT!

You can talk about, “Needing more Jesus,” all day long.” You can talk about others needing, “God in YOUR life.” You can even talk about, “Bringing God into your heart.”

However, the Bible talks about not hiding the gospel. “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost.” 2 Corinthians 4:3

Focus on what God really wants and NOT preaching about ourselves. “For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord…” 2 Corinthians 4:5

Make the focus on preaching the Gospel of Christ. “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6

Focus more on THAT and NOT we ourselves.

Ephesians 1:13 shares a powerful promise. It explains that you are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth, which is the good news of your salvation.

That same message of truth is available to you right now: “That Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast, and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
