Are you a FEEL GOOD Christian?

GROW IN YOUR UNDERSTANDING. Ever heard of Epaphras? The believers in Colossae sure had. He’s the one who brought them the gospel in the first place.

“…since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth: As ye also learned of Epaphras…” Colossians 1:6

But, even with this? What was the hope of Apostle Paul? It was for them to go deeper. To GAIN in true spiritual understanding.

Even though, Epaphras share with them the grace of God, Paul wanted them to be filled with SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING.

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding…” Colossians 1:9

Don’t fall for the empty line, “You just need more Jesus.” Paul didn’t pray for vague feelings. He prayed for knowledge, wisdom, and spiritual understanding for believers in Jesus Christ

So DO THIS: Get serious about Scripture. Let God renew your mind. Dig deeper than the surface. Don’t chase emotional highs. Chase Biblical Truth!

Ephesians 1:13 shares a powerful promise. It explains that you are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe in the word of truth, which is the good news of your salvation.

That same message of truth is available to you right now: “That Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast, and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
