But I talk about Jesus ALL the time!

HOW TO WALK WORTHILY OF THE LORD. Many believers say, “Of course I am! Look at me! I talk about Jesus all the time!” But what does the BIBLE say?

The Apostle Paul tells us in Colossians 1:10: “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.”

There are two key words here:

1. Fruitful. Imagine someone online yelling, “We need change! We need change!” But that’s all they do, talk. No fruit. No educating. No convincing. No getting people out to vote.

Our faith can be the same way. “You need more Jesus! Get more Jesus in your life!” But is that just talk… or is that actual fruit?

We want to be difference‑makers, believers who are moved to do the things that actually produce spiritual fruit. We need to do things that PROVE Jesus is real in us. Not just in our vocabulary.”

2. Increasing in the Knowledge of God. Are you really growing? Do you read it daily? Are you learning… or just repeating phrases you’ve heard?

Walking worthily of the Lord means: bearing fruit in your good works and continually increasing in the knowledge of God.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1

Talking about Jesus is good. Walking like Jesus is worthy.

A Final Word of Hope:

Ephesians 1:13 gives a powerful promise: You are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth the good news of your salvation.

That same message of truth is available to you right now:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
