Does MIGHT equal RIGHT?

In the business world, it’s easy to say, “This product is a success! Look at all our orders!” But does the same rule apply to churches? Most believers would say, “Of course not!” But in an age of clicks and views, what SHOUD YOU be looking for as the PROOF of God’s blessing?

For starters, watch out for pastors who claim church size, wealth, or views is a sign of God’s blessing. The book of Timothy warns of how we should view these ones:

“Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” 1 Timothy 6:5

Gain does not equal godliness. A church’s size, a pastor’s following, nor the beauty of a building is not the proof of God’s blessing. In fact, it says to WITHDRAW THYSELF from these ones IF they brag on these.

However, what to look for is THESE THINGS:

“But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.” 1 Timothy 6:11

THESE are the things to look for and follow.

A Final Word of Hope:

Ephesians 1:13 gives a powerful promise: You are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth the good news of your salvation.

That same message of truth is available to you right now:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
