So, I’m your Enemy Now?

I see this ALL the time on the political side of what I do. Information is present. FACTS are cited. PROOF is given. But being a POLITICAL truth teller is NOT a pleasant job.

People LIKE believing LIES. Either that or they are too ashamed to admit they were duped. And I’m not talking about voting for this person or that person. In politics, it’s the sheer amount of propaganda that is believed as truth.

So, you show them the truth. And then people HATE you for it. And then others, who WANT your audience, jump in and convince people to no longer listen to you.

It’s what it is. And like I said, the nature of what I do here and it’s NOT always pleasant. And if people want to believe a lie, they can reap the consequences of it.

However, when it comes to our FAITH, understand the there are people trying to do the SAME THING to you. The Apostle Paul talked about it:

“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” Galatians 4:16

So, we see here that people started hating Paul because he was telling hard TRUTHS to them. Truths THEY didn’t want to hear!

But what made this worse? There were those egging them on to hate! These false teachers were eager to win over their favor so they wouldn’t listen to truth and follow THEM instead!

“They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.” Galatians 4:17

The solution to this? Seek truth. Listen to truth. Favor truth versus those who tell you lies just to make you, “feel good.” Discover REAL truth by reading and studying the Holy Bible.

A Final Word of Hope:

Ephesians 1:13 gives a powerful promise: You are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth the good news of your salvation.

That same message of truth is available to you right now:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
