Maybe You Won’t Care?

You would THINK that if you speak about Biblical truths, or if you would defend widows and the downtrodden as commanded by Jesus, or, as you praise the true God of Heaven and earth…You would THINK that your reputation with those around you would GROW.

However, believers soon enough find out that the OPPOSITE is true. As you speak about these wonderful things in the Bible… as you proclaim the TRUE Gospel as found in the Bible: The world will HATE you.

This is the trap that the devil sets out. Because people DO crave a good reputation. But should you care about it?

“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10

The reputation we should care about is what our reputation is with God. And if your reputation with God is intact, then the world will revel in destroying your reputation. This is because the truth you speak condemns them.

Don’t let it bother you but rather rejoice!

“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.” Matthew 5:11

A Final Word of Hope:

Ephesians 1:13 gives a powerful promise: You are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth the good news of your salvation.

That same message of truth is available to you right now:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
