Vice President JD Vance is holding a White House press briefing at 1 p.m. Thursday, as the briefing room enters a new era without former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
Vance’s appearance at the podium marks the first White House press briefing in over a month since Leavitt’s last appearance before departing the White House. The White House has not yet announced who will replace Leavitt, instead opting to put administration officials behind the podium as pundits speculate on who will next lead President Donald Trump’s press office.
The Vice President will likely face questions about the Iran war as the U.S. military fired airstrikes again this week, the midterm elections, and who the next White House press secretary may be.
