Did you skip leg day? What is your spiritual routine?

Well, the Bible also talks about strengthening your spiritual body.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a weightlifting routine. But to this day, I remember it well. Monday… Chest and Bi’s. Tuesday… Back and Tri’s. And then the big thing everyone said is: NEVER SKIP LEG DAY!

To be honest, everyone hated leg days. More than anything… it was hard. And it was one of those things that seemed like the least of the priorities. I remember that all the young men wanting a big chest and big arms. So, it was easy to skip leg days.

So, here, the Bible also talks about strengthening your spiritual body.

“Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.” Hebrews 12:12, 13

Of course, this is not talking about bodybuilding but the building up of your spiritual self.

So then, do you have a routine? Do you have a routine of giving? Do you have a routine of praying? And what about leg day? Do you have a routine set to study God’s word the Bible? And NOTE: Ready a book about the Bible is NOT the same as READING THE BIBLE.

I like to liken that to leg day. Because it’s not always easy to do… But it will help you to walk. And strengthen your feeble knees.

Ephesians 1:13 gives a powerful promise: You are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth the good news of your salvation.

That same message of truth is available to you right now:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
