Fast food is pretty disgusting in the first place and it’s priced well above its natural price point and the service is getting slower and slower. It really shouldn’t be called fast food anymore.
I agree and I own a restaurant. We do fresh chicken and beef, most other places have gone to frozen pre-packaged items. And that’s probably why I hear “Best food around” nonstop. I will disagree on pricing though, my cost have gone through the roof.

I go into Kroger and buy their canning lids here and there. $1.99 for years. When gas prices hit to $4 a gallon from $2 a gallon, Kroger added $2 to those same dusty lids that have been sitting on the shelf. I talk to the manager, she said she would sell them to me at $1.99 as she knows they’ve been sitting there for years ,but she said “they get sent price increase sheets from HQTRS they must follow.” Everyone are just robots. They know those lids were not shipped during gas increase to upcharge people $2. They shouldn’t increase prices on items not effected by gas increase.
The service is terrible at fast food and our orders are usually wrong. People get $15 an hour and give poor customer service. Some how we need the return of customer service.

Where once we would go out to eat and it was cheaper to eat out we can’t do it any more. $30 and up for a single meal is way out of our reach. Groceries are still cheaper even though the bill at the end is 3 times more than it was. If you all have noticed the package of meat is smaller wandering if you are getting the pound of beef it says is in the package.

I had to walk in heat to go the store. I am barely hanging on. Jobs don’t pay enough to make 3 times amount to rent, and now my credit is ruined. I just keep my faith in God. Biden and the establishment have ruined my life.

My employer is refusing to increase our contract pay rate claiming inflation is causing the town I work for to be “broke”. How am I suppose to afford anything while it all costs more but I receive no more money!?!
The monthly cost of my groceries has increased exponentially during these past 3 years. I would like to vary the kinds of meats we consume at home, but unfortunately, cannot afford to purchase “red” meat too often. In an ideal world, I would love to purchase meat directly from a farmer who feeds his cattle grass, not corn/wheat products, and feeds his livestock worms, not “bread” products. Most of the nutrition we need is no longer available in the animal and plant items we purchase at our local supermarkets. The poor nutritional quality of the meat & vegetables we consume forces us to purchase supplements (natural only/not synthetic vitamins), which also adds to our monthly expenses. The cost of delivering food to the various supermarkets has had a tremendous impact on their cost to the buyer and thus to the consumer. Gasoline prices continue to rise, forcing the trucking industry to increase the cost of delivering their goods. Energy prices directly affect the prices of everything we purchase. As President Trump frequently states…..”Drill Baby Drill”……. while he was President, we were energy self-sufficient, as well as having a surplus of oil/gasoline. This condition must return in order to lower the costs of everything we buy.
Monthly expenses take the cake for our household. Groceries are about $200 a week and we don’t eat things like steak or seafood. Also, rising water and electricity rates do not help. Luckily, my husband gets a work van and company gas card for his job.
All of the above are really the problem, but I can’t leave the store without spending at least $150 on only 2 or 3 bags of groceries. Yes, I try to buy “clean” foods like organic and grass fed, but that is becoming more and more difficult.

Insurance rates are insane. I’ve always compared them to a casino with the insurance companies as the house. Home owners pay and pay and pay through the nose for insurance and 1 hurricane or tornado and the insurance companies raise rates sky high while trying their damndest not to pay homeowners. They don’t lose. Saddest thing I saw was an elderly Louisiana man who received a phone call from his insurance company the day before Hurricane Ida was due to strike telling they were dropping him. He was in tears.

I worked hard to get a house nearly paid off and very small mortgage. However, the home and auto insurance here in Fl have gone up way to much in the last few years. So has health care insurance and the cost of everything. My 84 year old Dad went to the Dentist the other day and the Dentist gave him a $21,000 estimate!! I have been living in a hotel because housing prices have tripled here. I had to move from my residence of 6 years because the landlord knew she could get more money in rent. I have $100 left after I get paid. Next place I’ll be living is my car.
I’ll be in my apartment 7 years by the end of October. When I moved in, rent was $530.00 w/ utilities included. Now rent is going up again. $850.00 a month and I now pay utilities of $50.00 or more. Without a doubt everything is higher. Of particular concern is property insurance and auto insurance. Property insurance is 4x higher than last year and auto insurance is 3x higher.
as a realtor and a mom of two boys ready to move out and purchase her first home their starter home we were fortunate enough to cover the cost of their college expense so they have no debt. Their grandfather left inheritance when he passed further first house so they have their down payment and closing cause covered and I know that’s unusual for most first time homebuyers, but my kids cannot afford to buy a house because when you look at the interest rate and even though they look great on paper, they mort is exactly what they bring home monthly so they cannot even afford to go grocery shopping or mortgages or just through the roof with the interest rate and the high prices . for example, national park in New Jersey has contaminated water. The factories chemicals have contaminated the water system and it cannot be removed. The government has given them $11 million I think in funding to correct the problem but this is gonna be an ongoing problem forever it’s not gonna be able to be be rectified and my son was looking at his first home in national park because the houses are 250,000 and under and that possibly could be what he could afford so he says they only can afford is a house with poison water. That’s just sad but I tell my client do you want to move to national Park? It said if you do make sure that you’re aware of this make sure you do your research and invest in a water filtration system for the entire house so that you have control of was being removed out of your water

Fast food alone in the last 4 years has increased at least 68%, and yet wages continue increase at a 3% increase on average. We survive (not thrive) on my husband’s disability. Rarely eating out and day trips have turned into drive thru food blessings and staycations. Counting our blessings anyway, but thriving rather than counting pennies would be more fun.

My husband and I are living in two different states because he couldn’t find a job after moving and buying home. That’s kind of ridiculous just to make ends meet.
We are very concerned about what’s in our foods (fetal tissue, gmo’s, adrenochrome, etc), what is being sprayed over our skies (aluminum, barium, etc) and what is in our water (fluoride, arsenic, etc.) And what is being done about it? When is it all going to be corrected? We try to grow our own, shop with local farmer/meat processor for quality safe meat, farmers markets etc.
Groceries are expensive when you try to shop organic. This is all too ridiculous, when is it going to stop!! We need a military takeover and put Trump back in NOW!!!!
I just got my Homeowner’s Insurance renewal. It is through the roof. Up $1500 from last year (which was already insane.) They threatened to drop us if we didn’t install a new hot water heater, which we did even though there was nothing wrong with the one we had. After doing so, they raised us anyway. I am LIVID and don’t know what to do at this point. It is unaffordable and I honestly don’t know what we are going to do. If I didn’t still have a mortgage, I would drop insurance altogether.
My oven went out in Jan. & I was w/o one for 3 & 1/2 months until I could buy a used one for $150. In the mean time I cooked on a one burner camp stove. Also my 22yo truck broke down & I waited weeks to get a new battery, then I needed much dental work that was $4600 so my credit card was maxed out. I pray my a/c doesn’t go out during the summer or I’ll be very ill. Im thankful for everything I have but I need a lucky 🍀 break. 🙏❤️🇺🇸💪

They have bleed every penny out of us that they can, so what is retirement, just another job.
My husband and I make a good wage but we eat at home a lot and planning a vacation is so incredibly expensive we decided to do a couple of home repair items instead this year.
$8.49 for a bag of flour, $7.00 for a bag of chocolate chips. I just wanted home made cookies. The corporations are taking full advantage. I saw organic eggs for $9.99. We are paying plenty for their poisonous food. They ought to choke on it. Dam them.
My answer to this poll also include what most people are having difficulty coping with, which is the monthly expenses that are too high. In my case though, the situation is even made more difficult because my employer, a big retail corporation, is cutting hours really bad. I’m only allocated 20 hours per week. Sometimes, it gets reduced to 18 hours. The worse part is, as our hours are reduced, our workloads are doubled, tripled and even quadrupled at times as heartless managers push us hard to get as much work done no matter what.
Just got my electric bill from the local Co-op — besides the basic charge, the total usage charge, and the power cost adjustment cost these are the extra taxes in Minnesota:
City of Rogers franchise fee, Minnesota sales tax, Hennepin County tax, Hennepin Transit tax, Metro Area Trans Tax, Metro area housing tax, and operation Round Up —‘all added into the mix! This is all new! HELP!!!! WTH
It’s sad I could only pick one. We made the decision to buy our home in 2017. If I had been able to see the future, I would have continued to live with my family in my mom’s house. But things were good and I felt like having our baby was reason to have our own home. Now, since Biden has decided to destroy this country to the point that he has so far, buying the house wasn’t as big a decision or nearly the effort that KEEPING it will turn into. And every week at the checkout line in the grocery store, I feel like I will be sick right there in the flipping store! There is a sense of panic around families every single day.
Maybe the problem is that the best way to get filthy rich in this country is to work in the upper levels of government. And the rich people are out of touch with reality. Who else can say they are working at what is supposed to be a part time job, that they randomly show up “at the office” and yet they are worth MILLIONS? Not any average American I know. Everyone of the regular people are hurting right now.
My mortgage is fixed however my property taxes doubled note the federal mortgage deduction was taken away from every homeowner this year, fast food is not healthy but I do grab it occasionally, I have no student loans other than what this current administration is forcing the peoples to pay for others, Utilities went up 30% this spring and are supposed to rise again, FOOD IS NEAR UNAFFORDABLE, I pay near double in gas to commute to work. My basic life necessities are not at a normal balance.
Overall everything is high price, need to lower Property taxes, overall all taxes.
People that rent are clueless on real estate tax. You pay your county taxes ,college tax, school tax, fire tax and mtad/ B-p-s-w tax and town ship tax and last road tax. No wounder the American dream is dying on wanting to own a home. We are tax so much!
We are falling further and further behind. To be honest it’s getting scary. We get paid monthly. It’s just not enough to live on. It’s impossible to budget as inflation skyrockets. We have always been responsible with paying what we owe. Now it’s between eating and our obligations. Many of us are out of options. Living by faith. We are all being tested for sure. The stress is horrible.
We can feel the extra rise in costs definitely in our home. Luckily we can afford but we also cut back on expenses and shop sales. Helping others that are in dire straights is the issue and when I have 3-4 families needing help every month I can not always help all of them with anything from food to rent/expenses. Helping about 500-1500 per month is really taxing and not enough for them to get ahead One needs a safe place to stay renting one bed room of house in bad area and due to have a baby end of summer. Another elderly couple staying in cheap hotel as they lost home and have health issues going on. Only so much I can do to help them with food and accommodations with the high costs. They need relief now.
For me it’s not so much the inflation, but the psych. affects of seeing my family cling to the matrix and suffer cancer, obesity, poor health in general. Seeing homeless people sleep under Erie RR bridge. Seeing people with children suffer and know the children are not eating and not experiencing life as it should be. I look forward to the day when I can speak freely.
My landlord kept raising my rent because i was getting assistance. Then eventually i flat couldnt afford it and he didnt lower the rent back down. Lost my house and i have 2 kids and had 2 cats. I was doing odd jobs to stay afloat. Losing my home meant i had to take what ever i could find. I had to move out of state to one bedroom. Now i lost all my contacts that kept me working.
Almost a year later and the house is still vacant.

My employer is refusing to increase our contract pay rate claiming inflation is causing the town I work for to be “broke”. How am I suppose to afford anything while it all costs more but I receive no more money!?!
The monthly cost of my groceries has increased exponentially during these past 3 years. I would like to vary the kinds of meats we consume at home, but unfortunately, cannot afford to purchase “red” meat too often. In an ideal world, I would love to purchase meat directly from a farmer who feeds his cattle grass, not corn/wheat products, and feeds his livestock worms, not “bread” products. Most of the nutrition we need is no longer available in the animal and plant items we purchase at our local supermarkets. The poor nutritional quality of the meat & vegetables we consume forces us to purchase supplements (natural only/not synthetic vitamins), which also adds to our monthly expenses. The cost of delivering food to the various supermarkets has had a tremendous impact on their cost to the buyer and thus to the consumer. Gasoline prices continue to rise, forcing the trucking industry to increase the cost of delivering their goods. Energy prices directly affect the prices of everything we purchase. As President Trump frequently states…..”Drill Baby Drill”……. while he was President, we were energy self-sufficient, as well as having a surplus of oil/gasoline. This condition must return in order to lower the costs of everything we buy.

Monthly expenses take the cake for our household. Groceries are about $200 a week and we don’t eat things like steak or seafood. Also, rising water and electricity rates do not help. Luckily, my husband gets a work van and company gas card for his job.
All of the above are really the problem, but I can’t leave the store without spending at least $150 on only 2 or 3 bags of groceries. Yes, I try to buy “clean” foods like organic and grass fed, but that is becoming more and more difficult.

Insurance rates are insane. I’ve always compared them to a casino with the insurance companies as the house. Home owners pay and pay and pay through the nose for insurance and 1 hurricane or tornado and the insurance companies raise rates sky high while trying their damndest not to pay homeowners. They don’t lose. Saddest thing I saw was an elderly Louisiana man who received a phone call from his insurance company the day before Hurricane Ida was due to strike telling they were dropping him. He was in tears.
Yes, food and every day, necessities are way too high. This includes insurance costs for health and autos. Crime is rising and many times illegals are involved. The border needs to be closed and illegals removed. Give our good police the tools they need to do the job they signed up for. Remove those that want to take away our rights and freedom. I worked hard to get a house nearly paid off and very small mortgage. However, the home and auto insurance here in Fl have gone up way to much in the last few years. So has health care insurance and the cost of everything. My 84 year old Dad went to the Dentist the other day and the Dentist gave him a $21,000 estimate!! I wanted to F*ing ring that Dr’s neck that is outrageous! My Dad walked out he can’t afford that. Neither can I. I feel helpless. FURTHERMORE, I TRUST THE PLAN but I do not understand why you keep asking us these questions because “the plan” just rolls along it does not matter what I say or ask. The price of everything is through the roof and cant be sustained for much longer. My heart breaks when I see all of the newly employed, senior aged cashiers at local stores. They obviously cannot afford to live on their fixed incomes. Its impossible to visit the grocery stores & not spend 50.00. I witnessed a woman pay 60.00 for fruit & flowers the other day.

I have been living in a hotel because housing prices have tripled here. I had to move from my residence of 6 years because the landlord knew she could get more money in rent. I have $100 left after I get paid. Next place I’ll be living is my car.
I’ll be in my apartment 7 years by the end of October. When I moved in, rent was $530.00 w/ utilities included. Now rent is going up again. $850.00 a month and I now pay utilities of $50.00 or more. Rent, groceries, utilities, everything is more expensive, yet payment for most work has declined. Rent for a decent apartment in a safe area of the DFW metroplex was inaccessible to me beginning in 2023. I hope that will change very soon.

Without a doubt everything is higher. Of particular concern is property insurance and auto insurance. Property insurance is 4x higher than last year and auto insurance is 3x higher.
as a realtor and a mom of two boys ready to move out and purchase her first home their starter home we were fortunate enough to cover the cost of their college expense so they have no debt. Their grandfather left inheritance when he passed further first house so they have their down payment and closing cause covered and I know that’s unusual for most first time homebuyers, but my kids cannot afford to buy a house because when you look at the interest rate and even though they look great on paper, they mort is exactly what they bring home monthly so they cannot even afford to go grocery shopping or mortgages or just through the roof with the interest rate and the high prices . for example, national park in New Jersey has contaminated water. The factories chemicals have contaminated the water system and it cannot be removed. The government has given them $11 million I think in funding to correct the problem but this is gonna be an ongoing problem forever it’s not gonna be able to be be rectified and my son was looking at his first home in national park because the houses are 250,000 and under and that possibly could be what he could afford so he says they only can afford is a house with poison water. That’s just sad but I tell my client do you want to move to national Park? It said if you do make sure that you’re aware of this make sure you do your research and invest in a water filtration system for the entire house so that you have control of was being removed out of your water

I feel fortunate that I have a roof over my head (I live in a small RV), and don’t have a payment, because I know there are others out there a lot worse off than I am… but, it’s time for this madness to be over! My husband and I are living in two different states because he couldn’t find a job after moving and buying home. That’s kind of ridiculous just to make ends meet.
We are very concerned about what’s in our foods (fetal tissue, gmo’s, adrenochrome, etc), what is being sprayed over our skies (aluminum, barium, etc) and what is in our water (fluoride, arsenic, etc.) And what is being done about it? When is it all going to be corrected? We try to grow our own, shop with local farmer/meat processor for quality safe meat, farmers markets etc.
Groceries are expensive when you try to shop organic. This is all too ridiculous, when is it going to stop!! We need a military takeover and put Trump back in NOW!!!!

I just got my Homeowner’s Insurance renewal. It is through the roof. Up $1500 from last year (which was already insane.) They threatened to drop us if we didn’t install a new hot water heater, which we did even though there was nothing wrong with the one we had. After doing so, they raised us anyway. I am LIVID and don’t know what to do at this point. It is unaffordable and I honestly don’t know what we are going to do. If I didn’t still have a mortgage, I would drop insurance altogether.
My oven went out in Jan. & I was w/o one for 3 & 1/2 months until I could buy a used one for $150. In the mean time I cooked on a one burner camp stove. Also my 22yo truck broke down & I waited weeks to get a new battery, then I needed much dental work that was $4600 so my credit card was maxed out. I pray my a/c doesn’t go out during the summer or I’ll be very ill. Im thankful for everything I have but I need a lucky 🍀 break. 🙏❤️🇺🇸💪

I retired a year ago and my husband has been retired for a few years. My husband is very ill and I wonder a lot about what I should do first when he passes. There is no way I could stay in our home, which is what I would prefer to do. Anyway I have worked since I was 27 yrs old and I’m now 68 and I shouldn’t have to make that choice. They have bleed every penny out of us that they can, so what is retirement, just another job.
My husband and I make a good wage but we eat at home a lot and planning a vacation is so incredibly expensive we decided to do a couple of home repair items instead this year.
Social Security is not keeping up with inflation. Medicare covers les and less at a time in your life when you need the most health care.
$8.49 for a bag of flour, $7.00 for a bag of chocolate chips. I just wanted home made cookies. The corporations are taking full advantage. I saw organic eggs for $9.99. We are paying plenty for their poisonous food. They ought to choke on it. Dam them.
Can not afford property taxes. I have had to pay in last two years for income tax. Weekly/monthly expenses are too high. Not able to afford luxuries.
My answer to this poll also include what most people are having difficulty coping with, which is the monthly expenses that are too high. In my case though, the situation is even made more difficult because my employer, a big retail corporation, is cutting hours really bad. I’m only allocated 20 hours per week. Sometimes, it gets reduced to 18 hours. The worse part is, as our hours are reduced, our workloads are doubled, tripled and even quadrupled at times as heartless managers push us hard to get as much work done no matter what.
Just got my electric bill from the local Co-op — besides the basic charge, the total usage charge, and the power cost adjustment cost these are the extra taxes in Minnesota:
City of Rogers franchise fee, Minnesota sales tax, Hennepin County tax, Hennepin Transit tax, Metro Area Trans Tax, Metro area housing tax, and operation Round Up —‘all added into the mix! This is all new! HELP!!!! WTH
It’s sad I could only pick one. We made the decision to buy our home in 2017. If I had been able to see the future, I would have continued to live with my family in my mom’s house. But things were good and I felt like having our baby was reason to have our own home. Now, since Biden has decided to destroy this country to the point that he has so far, buying the house wasn’t as big a decision or nearly the effort that KEEPING it will turn into. And every week at the checkout line in the grocery store, I feel like I will be sick right there in the flipping store! There is a sense of panic around families every single day.
Maybe the problem is that the best way to get filthy rich in this country is to work in the upper levels of government. And the rich people are out of touch with reality. Who else can say they are working at what is supposed to be a part time job, that they randomly show up “at the office” and yet they are worth MILLIONS? Not any average American I know. Everyone of the regular people are hurting right now.
My mortgage is fixed however my property taxes doubled note the federal mortgage deduction was taken away from every homeowner this year, fast food is not healthy but I do grab it occasionally, I have no student loans other than what this current administration is forcing the peoples to pay for others, Utilities went up 30% this spring and are supposed to rise again, FOOD IS NEAR UNAFFORDABLE, I pay near double in gas to commute to work. My basic life necessities are not at a normal balance.
Overall everything is high price, need to lower Property taxes, overall all taxes.
People that rent are clueless on real estate tax. You pay your county taxes ,college tax, school tax, fire tax and mtad/ B-p-s-w tax and town ship tax and last road tax. No wounder the American dream is dying on wanting to own a home. We are tax so much!
We are falling further and further behind. To be honest it’s getting scary. We get paid monthly. It’s just not enough to live on. It’s impossible to budget as inflation skyrockets. We have always been responsible with paying what we owe. Now it’s between eating and our obligations. Many of us are out of options. Living by faith. We are all being tested for sure. The stress is horrible.
We can feel the extra rise in costs definitely in our home. Luckily we can afford but we also cut back on expenses and shop sales. Helping others that are in dire straights is the issue and when I have 3-4 families needing help every month I can not always help all of them with anything from food to rent/expenses. Helping about 500-1500 per month is really taxing and not enough for them to get ahead One needs a safe place to stay renting one bed room of house in bad area and due to have a baby end of summer. Another elderly couple staying in cheap hotel as they lost home and have health issues going on. Only so much I can do to help them with food and accommodations with the high costs. They need relief now.
For me it’s not so much the inflation, but the psych. affects of seeing my family cling to the matrix and suffer cancer, obesity, poor health in general. Seeing homeless people sleep under Erie RR bridge. Seeing people with children suffer and know the children are not eating and not experiencing life as it should be. I look forward to the day when I can speak freely.
My landlord kept raising my rent because i was getting assistance. Then eventually i flat couldnt afford it and he didnt lower the rent back down. Lost my house and i have 2 kids and had 2 cats. I was doing odd jobs to stay afloat. Losing my home meant i had to take what ever i could find. I had to move out of state to one bedroom. Now i lost all my contacts that kept me working.
Almost a year later and the house is still vacant.
Our property tax increased by 33%. We reduced dining out like we did under Obama. Grocery prices are ridiculous.

The hard part for me is finding food that is fresh and does not contain GMOs soy etc make food healthy again!

Yet, the ‘Biden Regime’ has DOUBLED my taxes & insurance, also phone/internet, raised my mortgage, & also increased EVERY monthly bill – while at the same time throwing me out – completely – of the job market.
After 3+ years, my savings are completely exhausted, everything but the house itself has been sold, & I’ve been ‘getting by’ on basics strictly from charity by a couple of friends. I’ve become both ‘hopeless & helpless’ on every level,
My ‘bills’ are the smallest of anyone I know, less than about $900 per month – but I’ve no way of making it. My neighbor brings food. Car has been broken near a year. I have $0 dollars to fix it & I live rural.
Every day is questionable & I wish I could simply die. I am unable to commit suicide, as I know for a fact it is a crime against God.
