The Colorado Supreme Court disqualified President Trump from appearing on the ballot due to “politics”, not by actual law. President Trump has not been proven to have “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.” If the Supreme Court follows the law, as stated in the Constitution, they will place his name back onto the ballot. I hope that the conservative Justices do their job and not be frightened by the left’s threats. Yes, threats can be intimidating, but I do believe that they will stand up , be strong, and act according to the Constitution, the supreme law of the land.
Just as a side note- If I’m not mistaken, can’t a person be a “write-in” on the ballot if their name doesn’t appear there? Could you imagine President Trump winning in Colorado via write-in-ballots? Either way, President Trump will not be defeated in 2024. The people have spoken. The world has spoken. God has spoken. May God bless President Trump, his family, and his loyal friends.
Because the United States Supreme Court will follow the Constitution and the law of the land. The Colorado Supreme Court doesn’t have a leg to stand on.
I hope SCOTUS overturns Co decision but am worried they won’t
For the CO court to site insurrections after the senate (democrat led) found Trump innocent of insurrection makes no sense… defies logic. There is no room for political opinion in the court.
First, Trump is not guilty of insurrection. Second, the CO Supreme Court’s decision is unconstitutional.
Shouldn’t a person who is removed for insurrection or rebellion ACTUALLY be charged and found guilty BEFORE the statute can be used against them? #ThesePeopleAreStupid
