Olivia Rodrigo makes jaw-dropping tour debut with incredible disappearing dress performance

Olivia Rodrigo showed the secrets she shouldn’t tell on opening night of The Unraveled Tour.

Rodrigo, 23, rocked a baby blue pleated mini dress while performing “The Cure” in the middle of People’s Bank Arena for thousands of devoted fans in Hartford, Conn.

As the “Drivers License” singer belted out her latest hit from her third studio album, rain began falling onto the stage and melted her dress away to reveal a red latex ensemble.

Following the stunning water display, Rodrigo changed into a tank top and jeans for an encore performance including a few hits from her previous catalogs, “GUTS” and “SOUR.”

“First night of the unraveled tour was magic,” Rodrigo wrote online with a carousel of images from the concert.

“Been planning this show out in my head for the last year and seeing it all come together was a dream come true. thank you to everyone who came and showed so much love and huge thanks to @esdevlin @husseinchalayanofficial and @humanprsn for their brilliant contributions.”

The “Jealousy, Jealousy” singer added, “Can’t wait to see more of yall on the road!!!!”

The Unraveled Tour marks Rodrigo’s third concert tour; her first in support of her third studio album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.”

Weeks before wowing the crowd with her disappearing dress, the “good 4 u” singer made a major impact on women-focused nonprofits after raising $20 million through her inaugural Daisy Chain Fields music festival.

Before her headlining set at the event in Irvine, Rodrigo announced that Melinda French Gates would match every donation to the dollar following an initial $10 million haul.

The former Disney Channel actress admitted that Gates was “one of the most inspiring women I’ve ever met,” while championing her dedication to “empowering women and girls that might have otherwise been forgotten.”

“Look at what you have done,” Gates told Rodrigo after joining Rodrigo on stage. “Look at what you created!”

“What I love about you is that you know that real power is not up here on stage, it’s with everybody there, all of you,” Gates continued. “When women and girls come together to dream and to lead, we change the world.”

The former wife of Microsoft founder Bill Gates added, “And, so long after the lights go down from this festival, the organizations doing this work will keep doing it because you all are here, so thank you for being here and thank you, Olivia.”

Ten organizations will receive an equally split total from the funds raised at the festival, which included: Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Jhpiego, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Institute for Reproductive Health, National Women’s Law Center and Planned Parenthood.
