But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we BELIEVE that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the Word of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the LORD Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the Trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Trump says Schiff should see jail time for alleged mortgage fraud

President Donald Trump on Sunday night continued his attacks against one of his strongest critics, Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), as Fannie Mae investigators look into allegations of mortgage fraud by the senator.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump teased that Schiff is in “BIG TROUBLE” and accused him of falsifying loan documents, saying he should face prison time.

“Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff is in BIG TROUBLE! He falsified Loan Documents. He once said my son would go to prison on a SCAM that Schiff, along with other Crooked Dems, illegally ‘manufactured’ in order to stage an actual coup. My son did nothing wrong, knew nothing about the fictional story. It was an American Tragedy! Now Shifty should pay the price of prison for a real crime, not one made up by the corrupt accusers!” the president posted, referencing the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, new documents of which allege that Obama-era officials “manufactured” intelligence to undermine Trump.

Trump’s call for Schiff to see jail time follows the president’s statement last week that the California senator faced an investigation from Fannie Mae that concluded Schiff “engaged in a sustained pattern of possible mortgage fraud” by listing a Maryland home as his primary residence for years instead of his California home.

While a memorandum from Fannie Mae investigators found something similar to Trump’s accusations, specifically that Schiff and his wife, Eve, “engaged in a sustained pattern of possible occupancy misrepresentation,” no determination on anything illegal has yet been made.

Still, Trump has only escalated his rhetoric against Schiff over the past week, including earlier on Sunday, where he called for his prosecution.

TRUMP SAYS SCHIFF SHOULD BE PROSECUTED FOR MORTGAGE FRAUD ‘LIKE THEY TRIED TO PROSECUTE ME’

“Adam Schiff is a THIEF! He should be prosecuted, just like they tried to prosecute me, and everyone else — The only difference is, WE WERE TOTALLY INNOCENT, IT WAS ALL A GIANT HOAX!” Trump posted.

Schiff has denied wrongdoing and defended the use of claiming year-round ownership of both homes as common practice for members of Congress traveling from state to state.

“Big surprise — members of Congress, almost all of them, own more than one home or rent more than one home because we’re required to be on both coasts. So he is using my ownership of two homes to make a false claim of mortgage fraud,” the California senator said early last week.
