
President Donald Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) are hosting the Louisiana State University and LSU-Shreveport national championship baseball teams at the White House.
The welcoming is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

The LSU Tigers won the NCAA Division I championship for the eighth time this year, granting them their third White House visit, with the previous two taking place in 2009 and 1991. LSU-Shreveport has been similarly successful, making history with a perfect 59-0 season, culminating in its victory at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics championship.
The visit also includes a tour of the Capitol.
