When Conspiracies Replace Compassion: The Lie-Training Christians Don’t Realize They’ve Undergone

Don’t Let Lies Train You: Some believers have been trained by the world, not in sharing wisdom, but in sharing lies. For some, when a tragedy happens, their first instinct is to jump straight to a conspiracy and TEACH that conspiracy. And while it is fine to “ask questions”, for many, it has become a reflex that leads them into falsehoods. 

Some won’t even let someone famous “die.” People claim they’re in witness protection… or part of a secret operation… or still alive behind the scenes. And the people they hate? They can’t even allow them to live. They claim they’ve been executed at “Gitmo” and replaced by actors or clones. 

This is profane because it dishonors real people with lies. 

“But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.” 1 Timothy 4:7. Notice the command: EXERCISE yourself toward godliness. Many have trained themselves to immediately look for conspiracy in anything. But Scripture says: train yourself toward godliness. 

When something happens…when you hear of trouble…train yourself to ask: “If I were helping this person or this family, what encouragement from the Bible could I bring?” 

Train your heart to find answers in the Bible and NOT in old wives’ fables.
