    I use the Catholic edition.

  2. George Colgrove III says:

I’ve used the NIV version for its readability and also it was my moms favorite Bible in her ministry.

  3. Nancy Borberg says:

Paleo Hebrew Bible, first five books given to Moses in pictographic form directly from God. All others are only partial interpretations. Jesus shows up in the first word as the savior who will be nailed to a wooden cross. The original version was translated around 500 BC +/- by the Jewish priests who clearly had the worst of intentions, to hide the truth from humanity.

Although I was raised w/o benefit of structured religious ‘formation’ (catechisms, mentoring etc)- at age 70, I still prefer King James! That was the scripture i heard, studied, & memorized passages from since my
early childhood. I have acquired other translations (NAS, ESV, etc.)
along with commentaries for comparative study- but I still love the King’s English! 😄 BTW: my Geneva Bible from 1899, predating the KJV by only 12 years, is a close & interesting read! 🤗 God bless!

I grew up learning the King James Version as well and feel comfortable when spending time in it. However, I just recently purchased the 1599 Geneva Bible, Patriots Edition, and am very excited to get to know its personality~! God Bless~!

i use my 1599 Geneva as well as my KJV…I use to also use a NIV until years ago I learned it changed and left out A LOT, and is published by a company that also publishes the satanic “bible”, and as we know our Heavenly Father’s word says no one can serve two masters (esp. when one is good and one is evil)…I got rid of that one quick
