Why God Doesn’t Want Your Sunday Ritual…He Wants You.

Romans 12:1, “I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

God completely changed what “worship” looks like. In the past, worship meant temples, priests, altars, rituals, and animal sacrifices. Everything had a system, a calendar, and a physical place.

But now? Everything changed because of Christ.

In this age of grace, God’s temple isn’t a building anymore…it’s you.
“Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you” (1 Corinthians 6:19).

So today, worship isn’t about going to a building, following rituals, or depending on a priest. You are God’s building. Your worship is not a ceremony…it’s your life.

When Paul says, “which is your reasonable service,” that word your matters.
Israel worshiped at a temple.
You, as a member of the Body of Christ, worship by presenting your body…your whole life…as a living sacrifice to God.

Worship isn’t one hour on Sunday.
It’s not tied to a holy day, a location, or a ritual.

Worship is 24/7.
Every day.
Every moment.
Anywhere.
Anytime.

This is the freedom God gave His “heavenly people”…the Body of Christ.
You don’t need a building.
You don’t need a priest.
You don’t need a ritual.

You just need to live for Him.

“…which is your reasonable service.”…Romans 12:1

And if you don’t yet know Christ:

Ephesians 1:13 says you are saved and sealed the moment you hear and believe the Word of Truth…the Gospel of your salvation.

Here is that Gospel:

“That Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
and that he was buried,
and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
1 Corinthians 15:3–4

Believe today.
Life moves fast.
Time is short.
