Not YOUR Understanding. God’s Understanding!

This is how people TRY to get peace in the world: They reason with things THEY can understand.

“My bills are paid!” → They think they have peace.

“The doctor says I’m ok!” → They think they have peace.

But is that real peace? And will that peace disappear the moment those circumstances change?

The Apostle Paul talks about a greater peace… a peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances at all:

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:6,7

The key phrase is this: “…the peace of God, which passeth all understanding…”

That means God’s peace doesn’t come from reasons you can explain. It doesn’t come from circumstances you can control. It doesn’t come from outcomes you can predict.

Peace isn’t the reward for understanding your situation. True peace is the reward for trusting God.

So, believers: take your prayers to God. Bring your petitions. Bring your thanksgiving.

And remember: It’s not your reasoning, your explanations, or your circumstances that give you peace. It’s God Himself.

Ephesians 1:13 gives a powerful promise: You are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth the good news of your salvation.

That same message of truth is available to you right now:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
