STOP adding LAYERS of WORK to Salvation!

I’ve seen this at the doctor’s office all the time. You get in there, and then you check in. And after the check in, you’re given a clipboard to fill in all your medical info. And then you must fill in another form with all your insurance info.

ALL THIS, only to have your doctor say, “I’m prescribing you Amoxicillin. Are you allergic to it?”

That’s it. One step. But you are given a never-ending maze of paperwork to walk through.

Now, complicated THAT to our faith. The Apostle Paul said:

 “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power…” Colossians 2:10

You believe in Jesus, and you are saved. Very simple. You are complete.

But what do others TRY to do to your faith?

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Colossians 2:8,9

They like to add steps. They like to add layers of things you need to do.

But these things aren’t helpful things. They are PHILOSOPHY and TRADITIONS of MEN.

Avoid these things and stick to what the Bible has to tell you!

A Final Word of Hope:

Ephesians 1:13 gives a powerful promise: You are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth the good news of your salvation.

That same message of truth is available to you right now:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
