When You Are FRUSTRATED in WAITING on the LORD

WAIT ON THE LORD. BUT WHAT IF YOU’RE FRUSTRATED? Do believers REALLY need more people saying, “…just wait on the Lord!”?

For starters, it’s not always easy. You see people cheating, taking shortcuts, and quite frankly evil people seemingly prospering, all while YOU are doing your best as a believer to do things right.

So yes, it is frustrating. But what does the Bible ACTUALLY say about this?

Let’s look at the Scripture. We’ve heard this verse before, but what is the key word?

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

The key word here is REAP.

Most of the time when we hear the word reap in the Bible, it’s connected to the famous phrase: “… for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

That verse is in the same chapter, and most Christians will ONLY apply that to evil people. YES. Those evil people WILL reap what they sow.

But does that Scripture verse ONLY talk about bad people? No. If good people sow good, they will then reap good.

To believe otherwise is mocking God.

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7

Do NOT be deceived. Do NOT mock God. If you are sowing good things, you WILL reap good things. And SOMETIMES, it will SNEAK UP ON YOU when you least expect it. JUST like BAD TIMES sneak up on people that do BAD.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

Allow the Lord to strengthen your faith and sharpen your discernment as God guards you from the consequences of shortcuts.

A Final Word of Hope:

Ephesians 1:13 gives a powerful promise: “You are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth…the good news of your salvation.”

That same message of truth is available to you right now:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3–4

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast…and there is no better time to obtain that security than right now.
