You Say You Want Peace? Then LOOK!

DO YOU WANT PEACE? Do you want the God of Peace to be with you?

Then what do you need to do? The Apostle Paul tells us:

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8

Many understand the point to THINK on these things. But there is another thing we need to do. It says, “IF there be any virtue. IF there be any praise.” In other words, is there? LOOK and see IF there is.

Look to see IF there is virtue. Look to see IF there be any praise. Find goodness in what the Lord has given you. Find things in your life to praise the Lord. And do those things.

If so, the Bible assures us in the following Scripture verse that, “…and the God of peace shall be with you.”

A Final Word of Hope:

Ephesians 1:13 gives a powerful promise: You are saved and securely sealed the very moment you hear and believe the word of truth the good news of your salvation. That same message of truth is available to you right now:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4

Choose to believe this today. Life moves fast and there is no better time to find that security than right now.
